Alec Atlas is an accomplished professional experienced in entrepreneurship, innovation, logistics, and finance. He began his career in audit and transaction advisory services at Crowe and Baker Tilly, building a foundation of financial expertise. At Coyote Logistics, Alec launched innovative products and services as an Innovation Project Manager, as well as leading the global financial forecasting and budgeting process as Manager of FP&A. Alec brings his finance expertise, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial drive to make a lasting impact at Whetstone Distribution and its portfolio companies.
Alec is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), holds a Master's degree in Accounting (MSA) and Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
In his role as Vice President, Value Creation, Alec manages our business development pipeline, leads the due diligence process and creates integration strategies to ensure long-term success for our acquisitions.
